Monica Sigmon is an award-winning photographer and sought-after speaker who is on a mission to revitalize family portraiture. After opening her studio in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 2000, she quickly garnered a reputation for excellence and cutting-edge imagery, building a highly successful business. Her accomplishments include being a double degree recipient from the Professional Photographers of America, earning both the Photographic Craftsman and Master of Photography degrees. In 2019, Monica was awarded the prestigious Sony Alpha Female Creator-in-Residence honor. Her work has been featured numerous times in Professional Photographer magazine, on Sony Alpha Universe, and on several national podcasts. She received esteemed recognition in 2021 when she was named a Sony Artisan of Imagery, one of just 38 in the United States. As a keynote speaker, Monica travels the country delivering entertaining and insightful programs on marketing strategies, branding, and running a luxury business, as well as hands-on workshops focused on portrait lighting and posing techniques.
